Find the right squad for you

There is a maximum of 12 players per training squad. To express interest in any squad, please fill in the enquiry form at the bottom of this page. Make sure you indicate which squad you are interested in and a contact phone number.

Classes start in the first week of February and finish in the 2nd week of December. Sessions run over the school holidays. Sessions are recorded so if your child cannot attend they can watch the recording later.

Seven squads will be starting in February 2023 catering for Junior players at various levels of skill complete beginners through to 1650 rating points.

All squads will be run online over Zoom. Places are limited and are available on a first come - first served basis. Acceptance into a squad is based on the applicants current ability, positive attitude and future potential in Chess.
